Speciality Chemicals: Corrosion Inhibitors

We’re often asked to undertake projects that are unique, specialist or bespoke.

In 2014, we had the opportunity to help a European distributor of corrosion inhibitors with the move of a large contract packing agreement.

With complex blending requirements, the plant required major investment. This included the modification of blending vessels with the installation of plate heat exchangers, an acid transfer system to handle reactive chemistry and the control of exothermic reactions. All engineering work was independently verified by an external consultant working on behalf of the customer.

We provided the customer with support through plant scale up, helped optimise product formulas and provided extensive technical support. The customer required rigorous adherence to stringent quality control measures and strict blending specifications for their speciality chemicals.

Other Bespoke Projects

We ensured a seamless switch from the incumbent supplier to avoid a stock out situation. By servicing this large contract, we’ve demonstrated the ability to execute a complex project and support the customer’s high volumes during periods of seasonal demand.

Examples of other bespoke projects we’ve worked on include gift packaged kits for the automotive and personal care sectors, ice-packs, twin chambered bottles, blind trials, liquid and powder sachets, solvent blends, creams and pastes.
